Canada - A Windsor-area mother who sexually assaulted her two-year-old son live on the Internet was sentenced to more than three years in prison yesterday after an Ontario court judge took the rare step of rejecting a shorter sentence recommended by the Crown and defence.
The mother, who lives in Lakeshore, a small town about 35 kilometres east of Windsor, was arrested last year after a man with whom she was having an online relationship reported her bizarre behaviour to police. The man said he would watch as the woman performed sex acts that frequently included her two-year-old son. Often the boy could be heard using sexualized language with his mother. The woman pleaded guilty to five counts, including sexual assault, making child pornography and possessing child pornography. - Read the entire article here
